Shoplifter steals perfume worth several thousand euros
An unusual shoplifter caught the attention of an employee at a drugstore on Brüderstraße in Soest. During a customer consultation, the employee noticed a 17-year-old Russian from Cologne.
He was filling his prepared backpack with various perfume items worth several thousand euros.
The 17-year-old unaccompanied refugee, who is currently registered at an initial reception facility in Cologne, was then approached by the employee and the police were called.
The thief was temporarily arrested and brought before the magistrate. He issued a pre-trial detention order.
The stolen perfume was able to be directly returned to the affected drugstore.
