Achern - Using a mobile phone while driving?

The police are searching for a black car involved in a traffic accident with an e-scooter rider on Tuesday afternoon. According to initial findings, the black car is believed to have turned right from Berliner Straße onto the parallel bicycle path around 4:15 pm.
In an attempt to avoid the car, the e-scooter rider fell. After the incident, the driver left the scene without fulfilling his duties and reporting the accident. Witnesses who can provide information about the black car are asked to contact the officers of the Achern/Oberkirch police station at the phone number: 07802 7066-0. /lu/ks
