Telephone pole knocked down

A 63-year-old female driver was driving on Sachsendorfer Street in Eisfeld on Wednesday morning (15.01.2025). She skidded on the icy road with her car, subsequently veered off the road to the right and crashed into a telephone pole.
This bent at about 45 degrees and hung over the road. The firefighters initially secured the pole, before employees of the municipal yard cordoned off the area. Until the telephone provider has repaired the damage, the road must be completely closed. The woman was unharmed.
