Unauthorized cash withdrawal
An 89-year-old woman noticed on 12.01.2025 that her EC card was no longer in her possession. It must have been lost between 08.01.2025 and Sunday.
Whether the card was stolen or she lost it is unknown. In any case, it is known that an as yet unknown perpetrator subsequently made several withdrawals with the EC card in Suhl, Erfurt and in the Saale-Holzland district, causing the senior citizen damage of almost 3,000 euros. The investigation is ongoing.
