According to current knowledge, a silver Ford overtook a light-colored small car at excessive speed in a blind curve. The overtaking maneuver took place despite a continuous line and ended in a dangerous situation, where both the overtaken small car and an oncoming vehicle had to brake hard to prevent a collision.
Subsequently, there apparently was a verbal exchange between the drivers of the Ford and the small car. The driver of the Ford later also approached the witness who had photographed the vehicle. The police have already identified the driver of the Ford, but are still looking for additional witnesses to the incident.
In particular, the driver of the overtaken small car and the driver of the oncoming vehicle are asked to contact the Düren police.
