Traffic accident with injured pedestrian on Martin-Luther-King-Ring

On Tuesday evening (14.01.2025), there was a serious traffic accident between a pedestrian and a car shortly after 6 pm at the intersection of Martin-Luther-King-Ring and Arheilger Straße. According to the current state of the investigation, a 17-year-old pedestrian crossed the Martin-Luther-King-Ring at the traffic light to Arheilger Straße.

This led to a collision with a 41-year-old car driver, who was driving along the Martin-Luther-King-Ring towards Frankfurter Straße.

The pedestrian was seriously injured in the collision and was taken to a hospital for medical care.

The Martin-Luther-King-Ring was partially completely closed for about an hour due to the work at the accident site.
