The Neustadt Criminal Police have been conducting an extensive investigation into fraud since the beginning of last year.
The formerly unknown suspect is a 32-year-old from Neustadt, who is alleged to have knocked on the doors of mostly elderly people in numerous cases, pretending to be in an emergency situation in order to receive cash.
At the request of the Frankenthal Public Prosecutor's Office, the Frankenthal District Court issued a warrant of arrest against the homeless suspect. He was arrested in Deidesheim on 10.01.2025 and presented to the investigating judge, who executed the arrest warrant. The suspect was taken to a correctional facility
