High property damage after apartment fire
At around 8:00 am, the fire department and police received a report of a residential fire on Ernst-Zielinski-Straße to start the week. It was an apartment in a multi-family house.
The fire was quickly extinguished, but the premises were no longer habitable. Mainly due to soot, damage in the mid five-figure range was caused. According to current investigations, the outbreak of the fire had a technical cause. The residents remained unharmed and were subsequently temporarily accommodated elsewhere.
