Traffic accident involving several cars in the city center - 21-year-old man driving without a license

On Tuesday afternoon (14.01.2025), a 21-year-old driver without a license was involved in a traffic accident with a total of three vehicles in the city center. At around 5:40 pm, a 25-year-old driver drove his VW Golf into the VW Polo of a 22-year-old who was waiting at a traffic light on Körnerstraße for reasons that have not yet been clarified.
The force of the impact pushed the Polo onto the Seat of the 21-year-old in front of it. No one was injured in the traffic accident. During the accident investigation, it was found that the Seat driver did not have a valid driving license. The police officers initiated a criminal proceeding against him for driving without a license and prohibited him from continuing to drive. The two VWs had to be towed away. (sen)
