(UL) Nattheim/A7 - Inspection reveals violation / On Monday, a 46-year-old was driving on the A7 near Nattheim without a valid driver's license

Just before 11 o'clock, the police stopped the 3.5-ton truck at the Heidenheim junction in the direction of Würzburg. During the inspection, the Hungarian driver showed the officers his British driving license.
The officers found that it was not valid. The man was not allowed to continue driving. The 46-year-old now faces a charge of driving without a license.

Note:

People who have obtained a driving license in a non-EU country must have it converted if they establish their residence in Germany within six months. However, there are also exceptional cases in which a driving license from an EU country can lose its validity. This is regulated in the Driving License Regulation (FeV).
