Borken - Final Report
At the time of the accident, a 42-year-old man from Borken was driving his truck on the B70 from Borken in the direction of Südlohn. At the level of the farm track "Wieschkenbach", the truck turned left.
A 53-year-old man from Vreden, who was behind the truck in his car, drove into the truck for an unexplained reason. The car driver was seriously injured in the collision and was taken to a hospital by the rescue service. The truck driver remained uninjured. The road was closed until about 6:45 pm for the duration of the accident investigation. The flowing traffic was guided past the accident site. The damage is estimated at about 5000EUR. The investigation into the cause of the accident is ongoing.
