During the inspection of this property, the officers received support from the USK Mittelfranken. The officers were initially able to arrest the 18-year-old in the stairwell and shortly afterwards the 22-year-old in an apartment.
During the subsequent search of the apartment, the police found, among other things, narcotics (amphetamine, methamphetamine), two presumably stolen bicycles, burglary tools, and some unmarked fireworks. In addition, there is suspicion that the 22-year-old was driving the VW without having the necessary driving license. Since both suspects appeared to be under the influence of intoxicating substances, they had to undergo a blood test.
The Kriminaldauerdienst Mittelfranken carried out the initial criminal police measures. The responsible specialist department of the Erlangen criminal police is taking over further investigations. The duo now has to face criminal charges accordingly.
