Over a thousand euros in counterfeit money found

Police officers temporarily arrested an 18-year-old man on Sunday (12.01.2025) on Bahnhofstraße who was carrying over a thousand euros in suspected counterfeit money. Acting on a tip-off, the officers searched for the suspect and found the 18-year-old in a bar on Bahnhofstraße around 12.00 pm, where they temporarily detained him.
During the subsequent search, the officers found 23 allegedly counterfeit fifty-euro notes and seized them. The 18-year-old was released after the police measures were completed.
