Burglary in basement rooms - witnesses sought
During the night to Sunday, unknown perpetrators broke into a multi-family house on Mainzer Straße. Between midnight and 4 am, they gained access and searched the basement rooms.
There, the unknown individuals tampered with the storage areas and forcibly opened several of them.
According to checks by the residents of the house, various items were stolen. The amount of the property damage is not yet known.
An initial review of the surveillance camera video provided a clue to a man who does not belong to the residents and is considered a suspect. A distinctive feature of the unknown person: He wore a conspicuous cap, which presumably comes from an (old) uniform.
Witnesses who observed something suspicious on the night in question, or who can provide information about the man with the distinctive uniform cap, are asked to contact the Police Inspection 1 at the telephone number 0631 369-2150. |cri
