Traffic accident during rush hour in Saarbrücken

This morning, on 14.01.2025, at around 08:15 am, a traffic accident with property damage occurred between the Ludwigskreisel and the Westspangenbrücke in Saarbrücken. For reasons yet unknown, a semi-trailer collided with a car driving parallel towards Alt-Saarbrücken.

The force of the collision significantly deformed both the truck and the involved Hyundai. The latter was subsequently no longer roadworthy. Fortunately, no one involved in the accident was injured. The accident ultimately also led to traffic disruptions during rush hour.

The police ask possible witnesses of the accident to contact the Saarbrücken-Stadt Police Inspection (Tel .:0681/9321233).
