Accident while passing by

On the morning of January 10, 2025, there was a traffic accident on Celler Straße in Gifhorn. A 79-year-old woman parked her black Volkswagen Polo properly on the parking strip near the former Leifert bakery branch.
Between 10:00 and 10:30 a.m., a passing vehicle touched the left outside mirror of the Polo, damaging it. According to witnesses, the vehicle causing the accident was an Opel Corsa. It continued driving without stopping in the direction of Federal Highway 188.

The police are looking for additional witnesses to the accident. Information about the Opel and its license plate or occupants can be provided at the phone number 05371 980-0.
