Wanted person arrested during attempted theft

m., a witness observed a suspicious woman trying to open the doors of several parked cars. She succeeded with two unlocked vehicles and apparently searched the cars for valuables. The witness then alerted the police and prevented the woman from fleeing until the officers arrived.

At the scene, the suspect confirmed the witness's statements to the police. Further investigations also revealed that there was a warrant for the 39-year-old from the Mönchengladbach public prosecutor's office. The police then arrested her. They subsequently took the 39-year-old to the station and later transferred her from there to a correctional facility. (JL)
