On Sunday afternoon (12.01.2025), a 57-year-old man from Beverstedt was checked in his car on Bremer Straße in Beverstedt around 12:00 pm. The driver was noticed because he was traveling without a fastened seat belt. During the check, a strong smell of alcohol was detected in the man's breath. A preliminary test showed a value of over 1 per mille. His alcoholization was legally recorded on a stationary measuring device.
Both drivers were stopped from continuing their journey. They can expect a fine of at least 500 euros, two points, and a driving ban.
