(BC) Biberach - Simply drove away / An unknown driver in Biberach did not care about the damage on Sunday

The black Seat Cupra was parked between 1:45 pm and 2:50 pm in front of a building on Karpfengasse. When the driver returned to his car, he discovered the damage.
There was fresh scrape damage on the rear and green paint from the suspected offending vehicle. It had apparently hit the car while parking or pulling out. Without taking care of the damage, the vehicle drove away. The police estimate the damage at about 4,000 euros. The Biberach police (Tel. 07351/4470) have begun investigations.

Note:

Hit and run is not a minor offense, but a crime. Anyone who causes an accident has to take care of it or notify the police. Otherwise, fines or imprisonment and the loss of the driving license are threatened. If the police are called to the accident, a small fine is usually due.
