The federal police officers presented the wanted man with the arrest warrant, arrested him and then took him to the federal police station at Gelsenkirchen's main train station. On site, the officers searched the man and found two Tilidin tablets and a bag of marijuana on him. A breath alcohol test also revealed that the German was intoxicated with 1.52 per mille.
After being examined by a doctor who confirmed the 25-year-old's ability to be detained, the officers took him to the police custody in Gelsenkirchen. Following a judicial decision, the man known to the police was finally taken to a responsible correctional facility.
The federal police officers confiscated the prescription tablets and initiated an investigation against the German for violating the law on the traffic of medicinal products.
