Drunk driving with over 3 per mille

On the night of Sunday, officers from the Wittlich Police Inspection conducted a general traffic check with a Skoda car in Wittlich-Bombogen around 0.00 am. During the checks, it was found that the 33-year-old driver was significantly under the influence of alcohol.
A breathalyzer test showed a value of 3.25 per mille. The continuation of the journey was prohibited, the car key was secured and a blood sample was taken. Due to a drunk driving incident several years ago, he was already prohibited from driving the car in public traffic. Therefore, he will have to answer for drunk driving and driving without a license.
