The following Saturday afternoon, the federal police checked a Turkish national who presented himself for the exit control of a flight to Kayseri/Turkey. Here they found that the Wuppertal Public Prosecutor's Office had issued an arrest warrant for resistance to enforcement officers against the 44-year-old in May 2024. However, the man living in the Ennepe-Ruhr district was able to avoid the substitute imprisonment of 40 days by paying the fine of 2,000 euros on the spot to the Federal Police. He then continued his journey.
