Drove into a parked vehicle and caused property damage

On the morning of January 11, 2025, a 59-year-old driver of a VW Touran was driving down Bahnhofstraße in the village of Dachrieden, coming from the direction of Horsmar. A 77-year-old had previously parked his VW Tiguan on the side of the road and left his vehicle.
The Touran driver was distracted by oncoming traffic, overlooked the parked vehicle of the 77-year-old, and drove into the Tiguan. Both vehicles sustained damage. The Touran had to be towed from the accident site as it was no longer drivable. All those involved in the accident remained uninjured.
