Lemgo - Rear-ended despite full braking
On 11.01.2025, at around 5:10 pm, a 34-year-old woman from Lemgo was driving her Seat Leon on Braker Weg in Lemgo. At a traffic island, the driver slowed down to allow a 22-year-old cyclist to cross the road.
However, a 22-year-old woman from Lemgo, driving behind the Seat, reportedly noticed this stopping process too late, causing her to rear-end the Seat with her Mercedes despite a full brake application. The 34-year-old Seat driver and the passenger sitting next to her were slightly injured in the collision.
Witnesses who can provide relevant information about the accident are asked to report their findings to the traffic department in Detmold at the phone number 05231 - 6090.
