BPOLI EBB: Intoxicated passenger must leave train

January 13, 2025 / 20:40 / BautzenOn the evening of January 13, 2025, a 60-year-old man from Poland was noticed on the Dresden - Görlitz train, who was apparently heavily intoxicated, unable to articulate himself, and could not present a valid ticket. The man's journey ended in Bautzen at 20:40. As his identity could not be determined on the spot, the Federal Police took him to the station.
The breath alcohol test showed a value of 1.72 per mille. A criminal complaint was filed for obtaining services under false pretenses. The man was handed over to a social institution.
