Traffic accident due to icy windshield in Sellstedt
Schiffdorf/ Sellstedt. On Monday (13.01.2025), there was a traffic accident at around 07:15 am on Geestensether Street in the town center of Sellstedt.
An 18-year-old from Sellstedt had just started his journey. Because his windshield was still icy, he drifted into oncoming traffic and collided head-on with the van of a 34-year-old from Esens. Fortunately, no one was injured. The two vehicles, which were no longer drivable, were towed away. The damage is estimated at 11,000 euros.
