Resistance during arrest in Kranichfeld

On Friday afternoon, the Weimar Police received information that a 28-year-old woman, wanted under an arrest warrant, was hiding in an apartment in Kranichfeld. The officers deployed were able to locate her at the suspected address.
After the announcement of the arrest warrant, the 28-year-old tried to resist arrest by kicking and punching, slightly injuring a 53-year-old policewoman in the process. Despite this, the arrest was successfully carried out and the accused was subsequently taken to a correctional facility. In addition to a several-month prison sentence, she now also faces proceedings for resisting arrest and assault.
