BPOLI S: Several beverage cans stolen
A 16-year-old stole several cans of drink from a vending machine on platform 4 of the Esslingen-Zell train station on Thursday morning (16.01.2025). At around 08:15 a.
m., a witness observed the suspect tampering with a drinks machine at Esslingen-Zell train station and apparently removing several cans of drink from it.
A patrol of the state police was able to encounter the 16-year-old with Syrian nationality at the scene of the crime and subject him to initial police measures. During this, 6 cans of drink were found on the suspect, which he is believed to have previously stolen from the machine. The Syrian national was handed over to officers of the federal police at the scene of the crime and returned to his school after the completion of the police measures.
The Federal Police Inspection Stuttgart is now investigating on suspicion of a particularly serious case of theft.
