A 19-year-old car driver caused a traffic accident with property damage in Hockenheim on Wednesday afternoon because he took the right of way from another road user. The 19-year-old was driving a VW on Arndtstraße towards Lußheimer Straße around 3:30 pm.
When he turned left at the junction to Lußheimer Straße, he took the right of way from an 81-year-old Mercedes driver and collided with him in the junction area. This resulted in property damage amounting to almost 6,000 euros. The two involved car drivers got away with a fright and remained uninjured.
