At 11:30 a.m., a 25-year-old was checked on Hauptstraße in Wenden. Officers from the Olpe police station had stopped the driver here.
Finally, a 44-year-old was noticed on Ludwig-Erhardt-Straße in Gerlingen at around 1:25 p.m. The traffic service officers became aware of the man because he had not fastened the prescribed seat belt.
The three checks provided indications that the men could have been driving their vehicles under the influence of drugs.
The police are now investigating this suspicion through laboratory examinations of the blood samples taken.
