BPOLI EBB: Mobile Border Controls: Man repeatedly enters with uninsured transporters

On January 15, 2025, the officers checked the 51-year-old man with a Fiat Ducato at 05:00 AM at the Sohland - Rozany border crossing, whose license plates had already been forcibly stamped by the police on January 10, 2025 due to lack of insurance coverage.

The Romanian also caught the attention of the Federal Police the following morning when entering Sohland. At 04:40 AM, he entered with a Citroen Jumper, which also had no insurance coverage.

Both transporters are company vehicles. The continuation of the journey was prohibited each time. The Bautzen police station has taken over the investigations for violations of the compulsory insurance law.
