Police investigate hit and run suspect
A 67-year-old city resident caused a traffic accident on Monday morning in Europaallee. The man veered off the road with his Peugeot 2008 around 9:30 am and hit a lamppost.
Without caring about the damage caused, the driver simply drove off. A police patrol searched for the car and found it in front of a gym on the street. The Peugeot showed corresponding damage, which is why the police contacted the owner. The 67-year-old confirmed the accident to the officers. He now faces a criminal charge on suspicion of hit and run. |kfa
