Landau - Truck theft thwarted

Fortunately, on 13.01.2025 at around 19:15, an employee of a company was still present on Albert-Einstein-Straße in Landau. He was able to report a 26-year-old to the police who was attempting to steal a truck parked in the company's hall, valued at 80,000 euros.
The 26-year-old was found on site, already sitting in the driver's seat of the truck. He was taken to the station for further measures. There, he was subjected to forensic treatment. It was also determined that the accused had driven to the company in a car. He does not have a driver's license. After consultation with the Landau public prosecutor's office, the 26-year-old was released. He will now have to answer in various criminal proceedings.
