Meppen - Rear-end collision on Federal Road
On Monday, at around 2:10 pm, there was a traffic accident on Meppener Straße in Meppen, in which two people were injured. The 38-year-old driver of a Renault was heading towards the Netherlands.
He failed to notice the VW of a 55-year-old woman, who had slowed down and stopped her vehicle due to traffic congestion. The man drove the Renault into the back of the VW. Both parties were slightly injured in the accident. The road was temporarily closed. There was material damage amounting to about 8000 euros.
