Paid with counterfeit money
On Friday in Erfurt, a fraudster paid for his baked goods with counterfeit money. The unknown person had bought bread and rolls worth about 50 euros in a bakery in the city center during the day.
He paid with a 50-euro note. During a later check of the day's takings, it was noticed that the banknote was a counterfeit. The staff informed the police. The officers secured the counterfeit note and are now investigating for the circulation of counterfeit money. (SE)
