Upon noticing the patrol car, he turned off the scooter and pushed it. During the check, the police noticed that there was no license plate on the vehicle. In addition, the 29-year-old driver appeared extremely nervous and showed clear signs of previous drug use. A urine test confirmed this impression and tested positive for cannabis products. An alcohol test showed 0.0 per mille. The man was taken to Hockenheim police station for a blood test. Further checks revealed that the man did not have the required driving license.
The man now faces charges for driving under the influence of drugs, driving without a license, and violation of the compulsory insurance law.
