Expired main inspection leads to traffic control - 48-year-old driver under the influence of drugs

On Saturday afternoon (11.01.2025), police officers in Eckesey noticed a VW with an expired TÜV sticker. During a subsequent check, the officers also noticed a strong smell of cannabis.
Therefore, they offered the 48-year-old driver a voluntary drug test, which he agreed to. The test was positive, so the driver had to accompany the police for a blood sample. He was prohibited from continuing his journey until the substance had completely worn off. The officers initiated a misdemeanor procedure. (krim)
