Burglary on Friday evening
(mb) A residential burglary was committed on Johannesstraße in Kirchborchen on Friday evening (10.01.2025). The residents of the single-family house were not at home between 6.30 pm and 9.15 pm.
During this time, the burglars pried open the rear patio door. They searched all rooms on both floors for valuables and stole cash and gold jewelry.
The night before, a resident noticed at 2.00 am that the light motion detector in front of the front door was triggered several times until she turned on the light in the house herself.
The police are accepting relevant information about suspicious persons or vehicles at the phone number 05251/3060.
In case of acute suspicious findings in residential areas or on residential buildings, the police should be notified immediately via police call 110.
