Wesermarsch District: Pedelec rider slightly injuredA 58-year-old man from Nordenham suffered minor injuries in a traffic accident that occurred on Saturday, January 11, 2025, at 12:25 pm, on Hafenstraße. The 58-year-old pedelec rider was traveling on Hafenstraße towards Walther-Rathenau-Straße on the roadway.

At the junction to Blumenstraße, he crossed Hafenstraße to get to the left-hand pedestrian/bicycle path. An 85-year-old man from Nordenham was turning his car from Blumenstraße to the right onto Hafenstraße at this time and overlooked the crossing pedelec rider. This led to a collision of the aforementioned vehicles. The pedelec rider was slightly injured and there was damage to the vehicles.
