One person injured after traffic accident

On 12.01.2025 at 03:20 am, a 30-year-old female driver of a Kia car was driving on Poststraße towards Schützenstraße in Wenden-Hillmicke. For reasons yet to be clarified, she veered off the road to the right and crashed into a garden wall.
During the accident investigation, alcohol was detected in the driver's breath, and a breathalyzer test was positive. A blood sample was taken and her driver's license was confiscated. The driver was slightly injured in the accident and was taken to the hospital by ambulance. Property damage in the five-figure range was incurred.
