35-year-old heavily intoxicated on E-Scooter in Bad Doberan - Police looking for owner of the E-Scooter

Last night, officers from the Bad Doberan main police station apprehended a 35-year-old German man at around 10:50 pm, who was riding an e-scooter on the cycle path along the B105 at the exit of Bad Doberan towards Rostock. The man had been reported by a witness shortly before because he had knocked on the window of his house in Althöfer Weg, asking for a place to sleep, so the officers on duty checked the man.

A breath alcohol test revealed a level of 2.95 per mille in the 35-year-old. He also told the police that he had consumed cannabis and that he had stolen the e-scooter he was carrying from a backyard in Bad Doberan. However, the man could not specify the exact location of the crime. The man, who is originally from Saxony-Anhalt, was taken to the central detention center in Rostock to sober up after the police measures had been completed.

The criminal police in Bad Doberan are now conducting the corresponding investigations against the 35-year-old and are looking for the possible owners of the e-scooter.
