BPOLI L: From the plane behind bars
On January 13, 2025, a Turkish national appeared for immigration control at Leipzig/Halle Airport. He had just landed from Istanbul.
During his check, the federal police found that the 37-year-old was wanted on a warrant for investigative custody. He is suspected of having repeatedly threatened a woman.
After a night in police custody, the man was presented to the custody judge yesterday, who confirmed the investigative custody against him.
The Turkish man was admitted to the correctional facility.
