Bielefeld: Assistance requested for alleged mother

The resident opened his front door around 4:45 pm for a woman who had rung his doorbell. The stranger explained that her mother was a neighbor and she needed a bag. The elderly man and the woman went to the kitchen, leaving the front door open.

The unknown woman positioned herself in the kitchen door during her stay, so that the senior later noticed that he could not see the hallway. In addition to the bag, the woman asked for a piece of paper and a pen to be able to write something down.

When the woman had disappeared, the resident noticed that a cash box with money and jewelry was missing. He reported the theft at the East Police Station and described the unknown woman, who was presumably with another person in the house:

The woman was about 175 cm tall and approximately 50 years old. She wore a brown hat, a light jacket, and dark trousers. She is said to have spoken broken German with an Eastern European accent.
