Wrong-way driver in Ingelheim

This morning at 06:38 am, a caller reported a wrong-way driver on the A60. A black Audi A3 had entered the Mainz-bound carriageway at the Ingelheim-East junction in the wrong direction. The road was temporarily closed and checked by patrols from the surrounding Bingen and Ingelheim stations.

As a result, there was a brief traffic jam on the A60 towards Mainz during rush hour. The wrong-way driver could not be located by the police. No dangerous traffic situation occurred.
