And when a couple splits, it can be especially difficult if they share children. This difficulty only amplifies if one party moves on and has a new family.
This man’s wife asked for a divorce when their daughter was 13. He’s since remarried and has two young children with his second wife. His first daughter, now 27, is getting married and everyone has been invited — except for her father’s new family.
The father told his daughter that he refuses to walk her down the aisle if his new wife and kids can’t come too. She called him an asshole. And he took to the subreddit AITA to see what the internet thinks about the situation.
