Woman Deeply Confuses And Angers Internet With Her $3000 Month Car Payment

Making good financial decisions is hard. You try to stash money away, watch for sales, and cook at home.
But next thing you know, Uber Eats is knocking on your door with a $35 Pad Thai. Sure, it’s delicious. And it’s oh-so-satisfying to chuck it in the trash instead of washing dishes. But then you feel guilty when you see the credit card statement and vow to do better. And so the cycle continues.

If you’re feeling bad about your money-saving choices, I’ve got just the thing. The way this woman handles her funds is so baffling, so ill-conceived that the internet is losing its mind — and her story is bound to make you feel better about overspending on some noodles.

TikTok user @theblaiseyarnold recently shared her sky-high truck payments that total over $3,000 per month. At first, you feel bad for her. It seems her husband splurged on a pricey new truck and now the rest of their family is suffering for it. But as the story continues, things get more and more outrageous, and she slowly reveals that she’s the source of their financial woes.

Blaisey reveals they pay $1,600 monthly for her husband’s new truck — at a 14% interest rate. This is in addition to the $1,400 she pays for her Tahoe.

“Do y’all wanna know what is worse than my Tahoe payment?” she asks, referencing a previous video where she discussed her hefty monthly vehicle fees. “You guys thought that was bad, wait till you hear this one. It’s my husband’s truck.”

“My husband drives a 2020 GMC AT4 Sierra 1500,” she continues. “We bought it in August of 2022. Financed it for $78,000. He still has a remaining balance of I think it’s seventy-two or seventy-four thousand.”

It would seem like the couple is perfect for each other — they both chose to pay a ton for vehicles they can hardly pay off. She even uses it as a reason to lay off her for her poor financial decisions and go after her husband instead.

“So y’all stop coming after me for my bad finance decisions and go after him because he fucked up too,” she said.

But wait… did he fuck up?

In a Sixth Sense-level plot twist, she immediately adds a crucial detail that completely changes the story…

“Too bad he didn’t buy his truck for him, I did,” she clarifies. “So yeah, I messed them both up. Oops.”

Blaisey, what is going on here? Why did you sic us on your husband like that? Was that supposed to be a joke? Did your guilty conscience sneak in midway through filming and you decided to pull your husband out from under the bus?

More importantly… what are you gonna do about the crushing debt from your fully-loaded, obnoxiously oversized GMC Sierra?

As if hearing our cries through the screen, Blaisey lists her options.

“Maybe we should just let his truck get repossessed and keep the Tahoe,” she ponders. “Because a $1,400 Tahoe payment is a whole lot better than a $1,600 truck payment.”

I wouldn’t say it’s a “whole lot better” but I applaud her for being willing to cut back.

But wait! There’s more…

“Or maybe we should just let them both go back because we have the Audi now and don’t need either of the car payments.”

Another plot twist!? Eat your heart out, Shyamalan.

Phew! What a rollercoaster. Luckily, the rest of the internet was along for the ride. And they had some thoughts about her baffling choices.

This is the psychotic thing I’ve ever seen on TikTok, and that is…saying a lot pic.twitter.com/euGqz1uXBS
