Residents of Finsbury Park in London experienced a delightful surprise when a new mural by Banksy appeared overnight on Hornsey Road.
Confirming his authorship on Monday, the artwork features a vivid green splatter resembling foliage behind a tree, with a young girl holding a pressure sprayer beneath it. The piece, symbolizing nature’s struggle against urbanization, captivated the local community. Before Banksy’s confirmation, speculation was rife about the mural’s creator. Wanja Sellers, a local resident, expressed pride in hosting the mural, while James Peak, creator of “The Banksy Story,” recognized Banksy’s signature style immediately.
