Break-in at car dealership

On the night of January 10 to 11, 2025, previously unknown thieves gained access to storage containers of a car dealership in Asbacher Street, Schmalkalden. The containers apparently stored customer tires.
The perpetrators forcibly opened the locks and thus came into possession of at least 13 complete wheel sets. The resulting loot damage is estimated at at least 30,000 EUR. The Meiningen police accept witness information at the phone number 03693/591-0.
