Shoplifter steals again in the same supermarket

A male shoplifter from the Euskirchen district was caught on January 10, 2025, stuffing various food items and alcoholic beverages into his backpack at a supermarket in Weilerswist. He was observed by a supermarket employee.
When the shoplifter tried to leave the checkout area without paying, he was confronted by the store manager.

Two days earlier, the same shoplifter had been noticed in the same supermarket for packing alcoholic beverages into his backpack and leaving the checkout area without paying. Before the shoplifter could be confronted, he had already left the supermarket. Two criminal charges have now been filed against the shoplifter.
